Hello everyone. This is the latest tuxedo I made for one of my clients.
Disclaimer: I am not the world's best photographer and due to the overcast weather when I took these pictures, I lowered the contrast so you can see the difference between the body and sleeve etc etc. Also, he had a bit of a rounder back (stooped figure) so the jacket looks longer on this mannequin.
He commissioned a new tuxedo to replace his old and tattered one. His previous cloth was a wool and kid mohair cloth from VBC, but I upgraded him to Zegna. (super fancy)
It's a traditional shawl lapel, full silk breastpocket, jetted hip pockets. Lined completely in black, it has no bells or whistles.
Domed and covered buttons are another sign that it's a tuxedo you're peepin'. These cuffs have working buttonholes as most bespoke jackets do AND as with most bespoke jackets the buttonholes are handstitched! (see below)
Boom!

The blue tarp really adds.

Thanks I'm glad you noticed! These pictures were taken about a month ago when it was still super cold and wet

I like it. Do you make pie?
bumhand
You'd like that, wouldn't you?
Piewhore
My wife was impressed too

Yes, apple is my favorite

Looks like a Chinese robe than a tuxedo

Two completely different things, but thanks banana!
rocketBanana
Exactly! Two different things looking alike. Pretty lame

I thought I recognized your work! I loved the tan jacket you did a fee months ago. Good job @OP great craftsmanship!

Holy smokes! You remembered?!

I think part of it was the photography style. It was just so badass in a way that fashion isn’t these days.

Wow thank you! I take them all with my phone haha
