For a split second I thought it was people in soup.

Cue hilarious comments about how that isn't enough food to feed 20 people because said hilarious commenter could eat it all in one go.
TheStudyOfExistence
I thought they were people at first.
Hotbeebop

As someone who hates seafood... Dear god no
spankatorium
Been to Valencia; the very notion of putting seafood on Paella seemed to make them violently upset...
pinchlawyer43
That's because the original paella don't include any seafood. Only rice, saffron, smoked paprika, chicken, rabbit, flat green beans (1/?)
pinchlawyer43
all sort of rice dishes and call it paella and nobody takes offense. (4/4)
pinchlawyer43
broad beans and salt. Vegetables can change with season, but essentially there it is. And "paella" (the pan) is so flat (2/?)
pinchlawyer43
because you want a thin layer of rice, that's why it is so dry. Anyways, in Valencia and the rest of the country we made (3/4)
mikeatike
Always upvote Paella.
