PeeterGrant
ronny jackson concluded that trump was hit by a 105mm shell from a Howitzer.
charondaboatman
Definitely shrapnel of some kind, definitely not an intact bullet.
JackalopeElope
Do the FBI have unfettered access to personal medical records? Or the Secret Services incidence reports?
taez555
Just release the medical records. Easy enough.
historycat
Tackled onto a stage floor not shrapnel.
LitterBoxKing
Nobody cares and he knows it. Hell, he removed his ear pillow days ago.
unremarkableasterisk
The FBI interview of Trump should be aired live.
kriswinters
It was a bullet. A bigly bullet. The most bigliest, deadly bullet that was ever fired in history.
Isgrimnur
Shrapnel is manufactured. Fragments are not.
“Usage of the term "shrapnel" has changed over time to also refer to fragmentation of the casing of shells and bombs. This is its most common modern usage, which strays from the original meaning.”

If it was a bullet he would be fucking dead so I don't know what he's bitching about
PlanetForScale
Or at least lacking an ear and hearing on his right side.
TheOneTrueZippy8
He doesn't know either. He just bitches in very broad terms.
It has worked for him thus far.

It's called a paywall bypass. There are several out there, including free ones: https://github.com/bpc-clone/bypass-paywalls-chrome-clean is the one I use.

I definitely don’t have one. I should have looked for a source sans-paywall. Apologies. I bypass that stuff.
Potatomanbynight
You're good! Ambient (other commenter) is doing God's work.
Exyr
Regardless of it was a bullet or shrapnel. It was glass off the back of a protective teleprompter but whatever....there was an attempt on the sheets life.
IDontCareAtAllButIShould
Nine shots and the closes he got to him was the teleprompter and some guy way off to the side?
QuitLookinAtMineAim
Yeah. The kid was denied joining the rifle club for being an insanely bad shot, supposedly

In my experience if a 5.56 bullet going full speed made contact with his ear it would shred his ear. The fact that all he needed was a gauze pad and medical tape a day or two later set off alarm bells for me. Spawl or shrapnel can be deadly all on their own so I don't get the visceral opposition to the idea.
WardSharlow
If you could take a pig's ear out to the range and nick the edge with a 5.56 round, I'd love to see the results. I don't think it would be all that impressive. A bit like shooting wet leather. Not enough resistance to even deform or slow the bullet. Who knows, though. It's definitely worth checking out.
ragingzealot
In my experience hunting them if you lightly graze the ear it won't even draw enough blood to leave any sign, if you hit it hard enough to draw blood then the ear is absolutely destroyed. I mostly go for head shots and the best spot to headshot a hog is right in the ear hole so I've shot in that area a lot.
WardSharlow
I'm hitting the range tomorrow, but I'm afraid of the looks I'll get pacing out 410 feet and setting up a bunch of pigs' ears. Also, it's gonna be a huge "WTF" from the missus. And then there's the watchlist.
