The cat is dressed in a tux aka what you'd wear to a fancy concert from the LA Philharmonic orchestra etc

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Philharmonic is an orchestra . Kitty is all dressed up for a show.

It’s deliberate. See the jojamart meme.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Knowyourmeme doesn't uh, know it. What is the meme?

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It’s just a thing you see a lot in things like deep fried memes

#1 wife made me replay the last 20 min of the grand tour season 4 episode 3 times the other night. She kept falling back asleep.

5 years ago | Likes 36 Dislikes 0

Either you mean 3 4 or I've missed something

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

The season 4 special. Seamen.

5 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

I fell asleep during that too, and I love top gear/grand tour. Maybe it was just boring?

5 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

It does kinda slow down there at the end.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It's about kids having sleep overs.

Okay. I didn’t know if there was more to it. (MTI is the best movie ever made and I thought there were memes of it I didn’t know about.)

First, I'm not sure guns work the same on the moon. Second, what good is a gun against something already dead?

5 years ago | Likes 149 Dislikes 4

The ghosts are from dead moon scientists. The nerds have never seen a man's big weapon.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

still does half damage vs incorporeal if its at least a +1 enhancement bonus

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

OMG! This was my exact train of thought “how you going to kill a ghost!? Its already dead!!”

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I guess it depends if the ghosts are harming the living through possession... could be useful then.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

also you'd probably want to put them in a separate compartment...not sure about firearms in oxygen-rich environments...

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Ah, yes. Put it next to the tequila

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yes

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Obviously haven't watched Supernatural.

5 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

Modern gun powder contains both the fuel and oxidizer so no issues with combustion. And because of the greater difference between 1/2

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The very low atmospheric pressure and the pressure behind the bullet they would accelerate faster and with almost no drag and low gravity2/3

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The projectile would travel farther, straighter and maintain its speed better3/3

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Every zombie movie ever would like to have a word with you

You are forgetting the Nazi's on the Moon. v

5 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 1

Please. America’s too busy with Nazis at Trump rallies. One war at a time.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Mythbusters tested the vacuum bit at least. It worked just fine. Though an air-cycle semi-auto won't cycle properly. (One of the things 1/

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Firefly did quite well, with the special vacuum-case for Vera...or the space suit...to keep enough air contained to cycle the system)2/2

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Hmmm, you'd think the expanding gases of the round cycled the bolt carrier group not ambient air presences.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The issue with that is...Most of those type use the air pressure in front of the bullet to start the cycle. It will still cycle...just not1/

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

as consistently as a mechanical cycle would.2/2

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Modern cartridges don't require external air to fire and will even work underwater at least once.

5 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 0

Are there cartridges that will work twice?

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I said at least, didn't I? But, yeah, good point. Didn't have enough characters to specify I meant the gun working multiple times.

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I had to take the opportunity as I saw it.

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

They’re probably bought for security on earth or some shit. That’s what I’d do anyway.

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Idk, you ever seen Iron Sky?

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

No, is it decently thrilleresque???

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

More of a comedy

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Nazis on the moon

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Mostly the same, bullet drop would be affected, recoil would be weird. But it would still fire.

5 years ago | Likes 81 Dislikes 1

It'd also heat up really fast - no oxygen to act as a heat sink means it stays hot

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Doesn't no atmosphere=no spark/ no boom?

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

No, sparks don't need an atmosphere to happen, and gunpowder has its own oxidizer in it.

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

In zero atmosphere isn’t there a problem with cold welding? I imagine that on a machine with so many moving parts that could be a problem

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I think It’s More the other way, things getting too hot and not being able to radiate heat away fast enough

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Because Without an atmosphere the only way you have to get rid of heat is blackbody radiation.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Weird? I feel like the recoil would be a fair deal worse

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Recoil Would be the same it’s how you would brace yourself in the low gravity to absorb the recoil that would change.

5 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

They just want to use them so they can do sick ads backflips in their space suits

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

As cool as that would look, i’m not 100% sure that it wouldn’t kill you. I haven’t sat down and done the math but it feels funky

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

No one said it's safe to be a badass

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Imagine the range on a rifle with 1/6th the gravity and no atmosphere

5 years ago | Likes 37 Dislikes 0

Wonder if you shoot at just the right angle would the bullet orbit the moon and hit you in the back of the head

5 years ago | Likes 32 Dislikes 0

I doubt that. I imagine any angle that isn't towards the ground would have it leave the gravity well

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yes but with conditions generally speaking no though.

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

I was wondering if a very high velocity round like a 308 Win Mag or 243 Win could you fire it at an angle to escape the moons gravity?

5 years ago | Likes 20 Dislikes 0

You would need a really high velocity round it’s more the angle and also your location whenever you fired it

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

High velocity rifle rounds have a muzzle velocity approximately 1/3 lunar escape velocity. So that's a no.

5 years ago | Likes 21 Dislikes 1

Need a muzzle velocity of 7808.4 feet per second, so I'd say not.
