I'm pretty sure a guillotine would make the slice much more severe.

Guillotine are too quick, too humane. A trebuchet is also quick, and "humane" but it also has the flight time for them to feel fear.

We can use the guillotine, right? THEN launch the heads at the waiting pedos. They will feel fear for what awaits them and we get to use both machines. Everybody wins!
