I'm so sick and tired of people complaining to me about petty things. I have a coworker who will start crying if something doesn't go their way. Then I have to consul her or else we get no work done. It is bullshit and tiring, and if I don't consul her then I am being insensitive. If I am insensitive then I could get in trouble with the boss. Seriously, it is not my fault her personal life is crap. She needs to leave it at home and do the fucking work.

Sorry needed to vent. Move along now, nothing to see here.

shitpost

I often hear a coworker crying in the next cube. I never ask what is wrong, because she slacks off all the time and it irritates me.

Quit being an over sensitive little bitch.

No console, PC master race.

Emotionally unstable people tend to control others' behavior.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 2

As an insensitive prick I agree. Although I'm sure there's some middle ground to be found.

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 3

It's "console", and unless you are her supervisor I don't think you have to do shit.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That's when you just own it and say "yeah I am being insensitive. Because I don't fucking care about your personal problems!"

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I don't think @OP has ever really been bullied, the gigantic faggot.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I believe the word you're looking for is "manipulative"

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 3

Nobody cares.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Umm. Irony?

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

*console.

OP is a bully

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Speaking of sensitive people....

9 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 5

My mother does this intentionally when she feels like she isn't getting enough attention. I've tried so hard to get her out of my life...

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

UNPOPULAR OPINION: I agree with OP.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 4

It is entirely possible to empathize with people going through difficult times/being self-absorbed without making yourself 'responsible'.

9 years ago | Likes 50 Dislikes 5

I think OP is more angry about having her time being wasted and coworker not trying to fix things

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

Thats a bit difference between being sensative and being a little bitch, just sayin

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That's not how bullying works.

9 years ago | Likes 132 Dislikes 23

Not technically, no. But kinda.

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 11

If that coworker insist to their boss that he/she wasn't nice when they were having a hard time then yeah it can be. If it happens often.

9 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 4

"crybullies" are a fucking thing nowadays. hypersensitive politically correct mafia forcing people to bend to them....

9 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 9

It's called crybullying.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 3

I really hate people like OP. Who knows the shit that girl has had to go through in life that made her the way she is.

9 years ago | Likes 20 Dislikes 7

I have a friend who complains about this kind of thing. He complains about a lot of things.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Have you tried talking them into being less sensitive?

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I told him to stop bullying me

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

why should she be more considerate of your feelings than you are of hers?

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

amen

9 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 8

So do we need to be sensitive to you, @OP? Or can we just tell you to man up and deal with it?

9 years ago | Likes 142 Dislikes 16

Suck a dick @OP

9 years ago | Likes 44 Dislikes 7

I'm gonna guess OP has heard that a couple times before and has grown into a person that is okay with it.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 4

I'm gonna guess that OP is a wizard that breeds a forbidden type of dragons

People don't seem to like your opinion but it's the proper way to do stuff, personal life and work should be separate. +1 to all yo comments

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 8

What makes you think that @OP's coworker wasn't just "voicing frustrations"? Life's hard on everyone.

9 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 9

Look at this here bitch bitching because someone else got called a bitch. Stop being such a bitch and man the fuck up.

The Wire. Absolutely worth a watch: his character, Omar, is my favorite.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I had to drop a friend who was like that. It was too draining after a while and every time I got a text I would just groan. Not healthy.

9 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 4

Why not scold harshly? To drop downright might just make them even worse

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

I tried everything under the rainbow for three years and it always got deflected, warped, denied, etc.. It got pretty toxic.

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

OP , your new name is kettle. Kettle meet pot. pot meet kettle. Youre a cockwarmer OP.

9 years ago | Likes 29 Dislikes 13

that would require @OP to be a warm person. Which he just proved to be not true.

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

OP might be a warm person but just sick of it after so long, you know.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

then OP can be an adult and not pay attention or change the dynamic. Its not that difficult and its much more rewarding.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Well. This post is a tad ironic.

9 years ago | Likes 457 Dislikes 41

Not ironic if you read the title.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 5

What is ironic is this makes it to the FP (popular opinion) but top comments are all scathing. Bunch of self loathing idiots myself included

Fucking Alanis, Jagged Little Pill was a monster album. It was something like 6 of the tracks off it became smash singles, including Ironic.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

In fairness, I up voted the post and this reply.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Hardly ironic at all: OP isnt using emotional sensitivity for attention; he/she is just expressing frustration about people who do so.

9 years ago | Likes 41 Dislikes 13

9 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 2

Console him otherwise we won't get any cat pics on imgur.

9 years ago | Likes 64 Dislikes 2

Yeah! Throw a xbox at his face so we can get some cats!

9 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Halo there mate! Bioshock you out of that slump!

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

This isnt irony.... you need a dictionary. OP is literally discussing his opinion of sensitive people and voicing frustration. 1/2

9 years ago | Likes 30 Dislikes 27

It is irony. He's bitching about someone bitching. Can you not see this?

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 8

It's would be hypocrisy rather than irony

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

No, he's frustrated by someone using controlling behavior. No irony.

9 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 3

You're right. I actually agree with OP - she's kind of taking him hostage emotionally. I do see a wee bit of irony though. Just saying...

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Irony would be OP saying these things, and then ending up being a sensitive little bitch. 2/2

9 years ago | Likes 25 Dislikes 17

Yup which is why this is ironic.

9 years ago | Likes 21 Dislikes 21

Not irony. It would be hypocrisy

No, because discussing a topic of frustration doesnt make you sensitive or a little bitch...

9 years ago | Likes 22 Dislikes 16

Isn't it nice for us to have opinions?

9 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 14

Its not ironic since OP isn't being a little bitch about it. They're just saying they are frustrated by this emotional cunt being sensitive.
