I don't organize with 5051 Personally, they reek of center-right establishment Dem rhetoric and policy. I was part of GSUS until a particularly nasty bird decided to try and co-opt the movement for their own cohort while hiding behind a veneer of accessibility. They stalled out around 350k members because they let their organizational mechanisms get captured by individuals seeking to foment an ingroup. Sad to see, they were growing steadily until they let their movement get captured by selfish.

Everything I have supported was not very liberal much less progressive yet still had fairly conservative people bull their way to the core. I have surrendered to supporting a few to several things that fall the least short of my ideals. As long as the trend is pushing back against people looking to hasten some bullshit "Rapture" that their Bible makes clear they have disqualified themselves for since they don't actually read it.

The ultrawealthy are sociopaths that are a threat to themselves and others, but they only win when we let them for a while. Sense or pain always gets enough of us active eventually.
Unfortunately after we havent done 100% enough to prevent the concentrated of power and influence in the hands of a few. We say it's to be fair but it's still the influence of greed.

Maybe. But I think a lot of other things could be done before that. If we were going to protest in person, a LOT of coordination and expense would need to be figured out. I think harnessing the global user base will be much more effective.
