I did this illustration for wikipedia's Tyrannosaurus page because I wasn't really satisfied with the current art on there. Its been extremely heavily researched and is just about the most accurate representation of T. rex out there. If anyone was wondering how lips work on dinosaurs from that one article getting passed around, this is how.

I actually used this as the cover for my T. rex post

Looks great, but one minor criticism. If T. rex had feathers on its head and body, it likely had them on its tail as well.

Not necessarily. Some species of dinosaurs had scaly tails and legs while having feathers on the rest of their bodies.

Now I'm hungry for wings.

T. rex arms may be small for its size but they would still be bigger and meatier than a human arm. Those wings could feed a family of 8 haha

"Waitress, I'll take the two wing platter, please. Yes I know it's for four people, bring it to me anyway."
