In my regular THC store. Chatting to the 2 young store employees (I am 70) when I heard the opening of tubular bells (not heard it for a long time) come on the store sound system. I asked them if they knew what it was. "Some generic Xmas music I guess". Had to explain to them what a pivotal piece it is / was. And that it's certainly not fckn Xmas music

Yes, pivotal for sure. It was a must have album in its day for certain, (one of my first LPs to be thrashed by over playing). Not only well known as a stand alone album, but also the theme for "The Exorcist." Hahahaha!!! Defo not fucking Xmas music! Great post @pm1001 Had a good laugh at this.
