I'm a firm believer in math
If you legitimately think that either or them will do equally bad, or you live in a state where it virtually uncontested, go ahead with your third party vote. Otherwise, your third party vote helps the one you like the least win.
Your third party candidate will not win your state.
Your third party candidate will not get 1 electoral vote, much less 270.
There will be no members of congress belonging to your third party to push your policies.
There is no magic % of the popular vote your third party could get that would overturn the two party system, because it would have to be abolished by the people in the two parties.
Ross Perot had no power after he lost his third party bid.
Ralph Nader had no power after he lost his third party bid.
So suck it up, buttercup, and vote against the one you like the least.

Vote Hillary or Trump, if you don't like either, vote for the one you hate the least. But if you're smart, you'd vote Trump.

That sums it up. Still fucking sucks though. Great demockracy we've got here. We should be proud.

I think one of them is worse domestically, the other worse in foreign policy. Which would hurt USA most/take longest to recover from?
medici
This is probably important advice only if you are in a swing state.

I'm going to vote Johnson/Weld. Because I'm not a sheep.

"Otherwise, your third party vote helps the one you like the least win." nope, it just doesn't help the one you don't like the least.

Yup,
JerfyMcGriddles
I don't know why people are downvoting this, it is all sound.

Options: (1) Billionaire war hawk who set the Middle East on fire, or (2) Billion TV star/developer with loud mouth and crazy hair.

I'll take door number 2!!

I'm voting for Trump because I want to see it all burn down and Hillary is just more of the same.
MeowWoof
I can't fault you for that. You have picked the candidate who's policies are most likely to make the world burn.
Ilikeitwhenyoucallmebigpapa
Doesn't matter anyways since where I live people can only see two colors on the ballot and blue always wins, regardless of the name.
