Cooked beef and cooked carrots

Was it that lean when you boiled it, or did you toss the fat after?
It was that lean :D I never throw away fat, I eat it to :)
Me too, most times. You use a beef stock or anything to slow cook it in to make up for the lack of fat?
And I use stock to make soup with dumpli gs made od flour, eggs and salt

I cook a lot of vegetables with it (carrots, celery root, parsnip and while its almost done cooking parsley, one leaf of kale and cabbage)
Good call. Still, a touch of fat wouldn't go amiss. Also maybe some garlic and onion.
Yeah, sometimes I add them too. Usually I have some fat in it, this was an exception

Yeah, sometimes I add them too. Usually I have some fat in it, this was an exception
