When your cousin tells you, "it's not you, [his dog] barks at lots of other people".

Got to visit family for Christmas and aside from family getting into Social/Political discussions, it was really nice. Got to detach from the internet for a bit, play crib, and get growled at by my cousin's dog (sorry, no dog tax of him. He really didn't like me).

I'm usually pretty good with animals, dogs especially. Respect them and they'll do the same. Not this one. Day one he barked at me, hackles raised. Then my cousin tells me this, rattling off a list of people his dog barks at, including the neighbour, at least three dog walkers, and pretty much every other dog it's met (he's even bit a few on walks).

My uncle knows it's a problem; cousin doesn't, so no obedience training for him. They didn't train a good boy.

Dog tax. This was my old pupper Jasper. He passed 5 years ago.

He was a good boy.

"He".... I mean "He barks."
