I've been on a small dose of oxycodone for years. My pain management clinic just cut me off for no known reason. I've been well and truly addicted a few times when my pain level is high enough to take 400mg per day, but I've always managed to taper off to non-addiction within a week or so of the pain subsiding. So I've only been clean from opiates for about a week, but they were never a problem for me in the first place.
Tramadol works well for me in the morning, but if I take any after about noon, I'll have trouble sleeping. I already miss my oxycodone prescription; those buggers didn't keep me awake the way Tramadol does.

On the one hand good job not needing them, on the other try and take my Tramadol away and I will turn feral.

Well which is it? 6 or 7?

Depends on the individual's definition of major surgery, I guess.

Plus I can’t remember. They all blur together after a while.
