Here's to Theo van Gogh (May 1, 1857 - January 25, 1891)

Theo, an art dealer, provided constant encouragement to Vincent through their frequent correspondence and completely supporting his brother financially; making it possible for the artist to concentrate fully on painting. Only one painting of Vincent's was sold in either of their lives. His belief in his brother was uncompromising and his love unconditional; a great solice for Vincent in his tragic life despite an unhappy end to it.
