At this point I don't like it. If it doesn't end after today though I'll get used to it eventually

Not if you're still using the much preferable old-style desktop site, which hasn't noticed that the posh new site gives you extra and is sul

Still wouldn't change to the crappy new style tbh...

After years of keeping myself within 140 characters. I really don't know what to do with all this extra lenght? Maybe it retracts from the format? Like going from a Novel to a full on book. Seriously. This feels excessive. This is far to long for anyone in the younger generation to read. And this April's fools joke have made me realize that we don't have so much to say.

1 character or 500 characters is a no no on your own post. You know the drill!

200-300 would be better. Long text walls are annoying

Agreed. It messes with the format.

I'm not sure what you mean, I find that being able to write long passages of text enables people to properly get across what they mean. I see it all too often where people write a message and then have to chop it down to fit which causes it to lose some of its nuance and context. This can lead to misunderstandings and arguments. Then you have people who circumvent it by replying to themselves like you see on Twitter, this prevents that. Keeps it neat. Do you see what I did here?

Honestly I wrote all that bollocks just because you said you don't like walls of text.
