Can anyone find the notice on imgur, something like "At 4:30 pm I will eat a whole chicken in the park. This is not an event. Please come to witness it." Or something like.

Nevermind, found it:

This is the great thing I have seen in a while

I knew it....

Making a fuzz about a 1000 piece puzzle is the equivalent of asking for a participation trophy. Anything below 3k is kindergarden inventory.

I mean...it literally is. He set it up and performed the joke perfectly

8 hours ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

It only takes one guy to fuck a puzzle... allegedly.

9 hours ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 1

Was the puzzle sick? Because that could be a factor. That said, it would take at least two to you know...get the job done.

3 hours ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Oh, oh no, that hole would take at least two of me

8 hours ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

People in the comments trying to inform us all '1000 pieces isn't hard' as if that was what we were celebrating

3 hours ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

majestic

11 hours ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I'm so unimpressed. My wife has (goes to count) 198 puzzles, the vast majority of them are 1000 pieces. We have so many because it only takes an evening to do one, and winter demands distractions.

9 hours ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

I guess *you* can only serve as a winter distraction for a small fraction of an evening?

8 hours ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

About five minutes

1000-piece puzzle isn't that tough. That's like, a few hours at most, or a weekend if you're casual about it.

Now, mix up 5 500-piece puzzles together... that's a fun challenge.

12 hours ago | Likes 311 Dislikes 14

It's so much fun!! Granted, I do easy 500 pieces but it's still a great time

6 hours ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

My husband and I do 2000-3000 piece puzzles passively over 1-2 weeks.

9 hours ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Look at you.

I feel like I can always one up a puzzle person by just adding more puzzles and more pieces and less colours

"But have you tried 25 all white double sided 5000 pc puzzles mixed together? Now THATS what makes people call in sick and jump themselves into a volcano."

Other puzzle people : "omg yes! And, yes."

Who hurt you?

7 hours ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Make sure they're all from the same shitty company so the die is the same too

6 hours ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

You and I have a very different definition of the word "fun."

6 hours ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Oh yeah, try this puzzle:

Such a sight you've shown us.

My family does a 5,000 piece puzzle every Christmas. It's usually 4 of us seriously doing it and then maybe another 2 or 3 casually joining in for maybe an hour or so. Even then, we're usually done with the puzzle in under 8 hours.

10 hours ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

My little sister won a puzzle competition at a big game fair once, and I do 1000 pieces (depending on the puzzle) in a couple of hours, usually. My biggest is 2500, I don't have a table for it. Would love to have others to do it together.

8 hours ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That does sound fun.
I did a puzzle with no edge pieces and 5 extra pieces.
Worst part was that 2 of the 5 extra pieces went together.

9 hours ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I don't know how you guys do it. I've got a 1000 piece puzzle that's been sitting on the kitchen table unfinished for months now, though it doesn't help that all that's left is a relatively plain bluish-green sky...and I'm colorblind. Finding one piece takes 5-10 minutes and there's still a couple hundred to go!

Worst part is, it's a pretty cheap puzzle and many pieces will fit together that don't actually go together.

4 hours ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

When it gets down to that part, it's more shape hunting than color matching. Try sorting your remaining pieces into the 4 shape types.

3 hours ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Completely depends on the puzzle. I've always liked puzzles so my mom gets me a Christmas puzzle every so often. They're tedious as fuck. Is it snow? Is it a cloud? It's mayhem that's what it is. 1k puzzles that you can break down into clearly defined sections are a breeze though.

10 hours ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

My favorite are 'The Talking Jigsaw Puzzle' old series. My family used to always do them at Christmas time. 560 piece puzzles, but you assemble it in sections of 4 pieces and then have to logic out how each section fits with others based on clues given in the sections.

I did this puzzle and a few others by the manufacturer. I hated the one of the constellations because they were all the same looking sky and there were only like 3-4 shapes of pieces so it took me days. Then i was missing a piece at the end. I was so mad

8 hours ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I guess I’m slow. 1000 takes too damn long. Demoted myself to 750 max.

8 hours ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I can barely put on my shoes without falling over.

12 hours ago | Likes 92 Dislikes 0

You're allowed to sit when you do it. Putting on thigh high heel boots when you're standing is just silly

12 hours ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 0

If you keep the pieces of your 5 mixed up puzzles on the ground you can put them together once you fall.
Just tell people it's all part of your process.

9 hours ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Cause you're clumsy or you see stars/pass out?

9 hours ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

You want a challenge?

7 hours ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I love that the little fuckers are taunting him while he's trying to solve the puzzle.

You know that unicorn whispered in his ear, "Ima bite yo ass when you least expect it! "

My aunt would do puzzles with the picture down on the table. She would just see the back of the pieces.

(But, my mom thinks all this "autism stuff, nowadays" is made up...)

11 hours ago | Likes 56 Dislikes 2

There's blank puzzles nowadays for this reason.

especially if all five puzzles were cut with the same die

Is 14-99 years the time it takes people to complete this?

I have ONE room in my house than is SLIGHTLY longer than this puzzle, and I would have to take most of the furniture out before it can fit.

9 hours ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Doubly so if they reuse the same jigsaw pattern.

*die (the term is used in reference to machines that punch out a shape or cut into materials)

I did puzzles a lot growing up, and got kinda cocky about it. My mom bought me a 2,000 piece puzzle. The picture was popcorn, there were no edges, and 14 extra pieces

10 hours ago | Likes 25 Dislikes 0

I love your mom now

9 hours ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

"Wake up dickhead! It's puzzle time!"

7 hours ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I got one similar. It wasn't that big but the puzzle was popcorn, double sided, no edges and extra pieces. I think it was only 500 tho. Never finished it

7 hours ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Extra pieces?!?!

8 hours ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

https://www.puzzlewarehouse.com/university-games-impossibles-puzzle-falling-for-fall-avail-now/ I can't find the one she bought, but this is similar

This is a great puzzle store in the St. Louis, MO (USA) area! We've bought puzzles there a bunch of times.
