Choose Your Own Adventure - The Blades
4chan's /tg/ board comes up with some great CYOA images as prompts for tabletop games, stories, or interesting debate. I've decided to post a few here from my collection that I think you'll enjoy.
Prompt: Since this one doesn't give much to go off, assume that in whatever setting you go into, all of the other blades will appear. If you kill the other wielders you gain their power, highlander style. No matter what, people will be looking for you.

I don't care for most of these, honestly. Stormruler, Ancient Elfen Blade, maybe Mercenary's Blade.

I like the Brood Mother, but I doubt I'm evil enough. Merc's Blade is pretty great, and so is Endless Tomb for infinite undead army.

I figure the sword alone isn't going to decide the battle. Their gimmick would probably be their downfall and I'd be advantageous of it.

Flavortext implies shooting, but a jackhammer sword sounds pretty legit to me.

I see no way it could detach from the hilt or a reason you would want it to.
