9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 3

9 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

Do you want to build a saul-man? It doesnt have to be a saul-man.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Oh wow, the blonde woman cake looks really realistic. Confused as to why it appears in so many of these pictures though.

9 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

She's a very pretty lady. Unless that's also a cake and we've not actually seen Natalie.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

#6 Ceak. I'll see myself out.

That's not a cake, it's art

9 years ago | Likes 29 Dislikes 1

Came here to say this. +1

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

These are sculptures that just happen to be in icing.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

i think im in love...

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 2

This girl is rad and deserves recognition. Yes yes.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Fondant is an artistic medium, and she is a talented sculptor. It is not something that one actually eats. As cake, all of these are useless

9 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

As a cake, the outside is useless. The fondant peels off easily and you're left with normal cake and buttercream.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

In the examples shown, barely. there's like 2 bites of actual cake in that cut open head slice.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Not sure what to feel about that fake state steak cake....

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

She baked a cake in the shape of a state that looks like a steak.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

She needs to make a Glenn Cake.

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

As a pastry chef: Holy shit! They don't teach you that in culinary school that's natural born talent and skill! Amazing job!

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Is the Willie Nelson cake baked?

9 years ago | Likes 347 Dislikes 3

It is and it's also laced

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Fried.

If I was in charge, I would declare you the winner of the Internet today

9 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 1

I see what you did there lol!!!

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Even Dolly Parton made a pot joke about Willie the other day.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Fuck that is a good one

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

With that comment you just transcended the original post good sir.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

She's cute.

9 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 5

Woohooooo she's based in Austin!

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Fuck you bobby new jersey this chick is the cake boss.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

... Buddy? Or was that part of the joke? Did I miss the joke?

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I couldn't remember his name.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Lol fair enough

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

"It's fondant, tastes awful, blah blah." Pull off this amazing realistic looking art, post it, then talk shit. Otherwise shut up.

9 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 3

Omg this! The fondant is easy to peel off. It's there for the artistic effect. No one is forced to eat it!

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

And now I'm questioning what she looks like under her makeup

9 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 14

I don't know. It's really...CAKED ON!! HAHAHHAHAHA....I'll leave.

9 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Doesn't matter. This post is about cake

9 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 1

It is, but let's be honest, she knows what she's doing getting into so many photos

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

I didn't mean it in a bad way, she's obviously masterful in her abilities.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 4

I'm not a fan of cake art--it's not really cake this is made from, it's fondant, which can be used as clay and colored 1/?

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

It's absolutely cake art! Do you know how much skill it takes to keep cakes that sturdy and carve them just right?

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

with food dye that can be applied like paint. It's edible and happens to have cakes inside--almost none on the Courage cake--but 2/?

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

for me it's a cheat to call it cake art. If anything it's fondant art.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

I bet they're iced in rolled fondant which taste like crap

9 years ago | Likes 161 Dislikes 14

there's good brands of fondant but some are aweful yes

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Not all fondant tastes like crap..maybe you just haven't had a good fondant yet? Try a tasty marshmallow one; we had it on our wedding cake!

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I happen to like fondant in small quantities.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Peel the fondant off.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

You read my mind.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Actually my mom makes a brilliant marshmallow fondant for these kinds of cakes and it's better than frosting

9 years ago | Likes 23 Dislikes 0

Yes! Marshmallow fondant is pretty darn tasty :)

9 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

Watch her TV show and see that she uses a 50/50 ratio of fondant and moldering chocolate. It tastes like marshmallows and acts like clay

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It does, but if you just eat the cake instead of the fondant it's not too bad. I don't really care for frosting anyway.

9 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

Doesn't taste great, but shaped like Saul Goodman, I'll put up with it.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

She's still a great sculptor

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

So ask yo self want something tasty or purdy

9 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 1

Fondant cakes always have buttercream underneath. The fondant is easy to peel off if you don't want to eat it.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Watch her TV show and see that she uses a 50/50 ratio of fondant and moldering chocolate. It tastes like marshmallows and acts like clay

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I was thinking these should say fondant instead of cake

9 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 1

Well hey, at least they're made of actual cake, and not styrofoam or enormous sheets of rice krispy treats

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

How on earth did she make that courage the cowardly dog cake? I'm baffled.

9 years ago | Likes 1309 Dislikes 3

An oven. and careful technique...

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 3

And most importantly, how do you eat it?

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I would imagine it took a lot of courage.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I dont know, but someone who watches cake boss at 3 am every night will be sure to chime in with their expertise.

9 years ago | Likes 27 Dislikes 0

One small slice could mean the end of that one...

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

i think you mean "Courage the Cowardly Cake"

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Goes against the laws of physics indeed, works of art though !

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Probably with her hands.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

She looked at a regular cake and went "OOGA BOOGA BOOGA"!

9 years ago | Likes 21 Dislikes 1

Stupid comment. You made them look bad!

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

9 years ago | Likes 70 Dislikes 2

Looked to make sure this .gif was here... good work foszor.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I sent this to a co worker who asked how Access works.

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

It was mighty courageous of her to do that

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It's still very impressive but they use lots of wire and inedible material in these masterpieces.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Fondant on wire frame I'd bet. These aren't cakes, they're fondant sculptures with some cake inside.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

A pulley system, some old dental floss and a toothpick

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I'm more curious how much of it is actually cake

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Probably with rice crispy treats. It's the baker's structural support for anything like this.

9 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

Yea you watch cake boss

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I had to look that up. I thought it was pretty common, but I guess he's really well known for it?

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Or modelling chocolate.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

dall rods are a structural cake's best friend.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

These are cake like her eyebrows are hair.

9 years ago | Likes 33 Dislikes 9

Fucking THIS. That shit looks impressive but you cant eat any of it unless you got no taste buds whatsoever

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 2

Exactly. It's hard to see the point of making these "cakes". They look awesome but would last longer as wax sculptures, taste staying same.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

What do you propose they are if not cakes? Also her eyebrows are real, they're just shaped and colored.

9 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 1

Thats exactly what I mean. Both the cakes and her brows have a legitimate base but are heavily modified.

9 years ago | Likes 31 Dislikes 1

Ah. Good analogy then. Carry on.

9 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

I think also the point is that fondant does not ever taste particularly great.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

I think also the point is that fondant does not ever taste particularly great.

9 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

I'm willing to bed it's almost all molded fondant with some support structure of some kind. Still looks awesome.

9 years ago | Likes 381 Dislikes 2

UGGA WUGGA BUGGA!!!

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

"cake"

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

BET

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

This probably correct. The base is the actual cake you eat.

9 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

I love fondant. More than cake. Everyone else can I have cake, I'll eat the fondant. I'm weird.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Probably rice crispies treats

9 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 0

Or modeling chocolate

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Hm I'd think it would be easier for her details to do a chocolate cover instead of fondant.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

chocolate would melt at room temperature. grew up in a bakery. fondant is a good way to do details atop cake.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yeah, looks way too fine to be fondant to me.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

If I learned anything watching all those cake competition shows, all fancy cakes use a ton of fondant and apparently its horrible to eat

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Fondant is practically inedible so imagine it's more like clay

9 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

I LOVE fondant.. Like more than I like cake. Everyone else can have the cake, I'll have the fondant. I'm weird.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

fondant is disgusting and completely edible

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I hate that word!

9 years ago | Likes 88 Dislikes 3

I'm willing to bed her too.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I understand. It looks similar to fondle. As in, she fondled the disabled man's sticky testicles. The connotations are disturbing.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

You just made me start to like the word a bit!

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Bed?

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

As in "this cake looked delicious until I realized it was covered in fondant?"

9 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 0

Fondant?

9 years ago | Likes 92 Dislikes 2

Fondant my balls.

9 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

Please don't say it again

9 years ago | Likes 85 Dislikes 3

Why dont you like it? What makes it different from eny other word?

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

I understand, I hate the word savvy. Not the way it sounds, just the way it looks. Something about the double V. Fondant.

9 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 1

NI!

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Fondon't.

9 years ago | Likes 22 Dislikes 0

bed?

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Que?

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I was hoping support structure
