Cat escaped from Virgin airline flight

A couple had sent their Cat "Cookie" to go live with family in another state, but when they landed all they were welcomed to was an empty pet carrier. They were told the crate was going to be zip-tied shut but it obviously wasn't. This happened in Brisbane, I don't know if there is much anyone can do but I just wanted to put this out there so people can take extra precautions when traveling with pets.
