On my bucket list is smoking a meat like brisket/ribs/steak/burgers slowly until it’s perfect and having friends family and neighbors eating happily with me.
You can smoke burgers but you're better off grilling them. The other meats are larger cuts and are having the fat break down in the process over the course of several hours
I’ve been told that rubbing mustard and then seasoning something like brisket is the best way to go. I really want to know what is best as far as a beginner smoker and a choice cut of meat

Pork shoulder. Very forgiving. Brisket is definitely not beginner, it's a pain
