The ISS is about 250-300 miles from earth. the moon is 240,000. your hunch was right , that pic is fake.

It's not fake, but it IS mislabelled. It was taken from another probe, but off the top of my head I can't remember which. Possibly solar one

maybe so, the pic isnt fake. the naming is mistaken. the satellite is LandSat 8.
