Seriously... this is the Dark Souls of turn-based games.

Hey, it could be worse; you could spend a decade of your life on a poorly drawn Sonic-Pikachu fanfiction comic.

I mean, any of the Soulsborne games are 100% less random than half of the bs that happens to your party in this game

Soulsborne isn’t really random at all, it just isn’t forgiving of mistakes

Downvoted for "the Dark Souls of ______"

How about we just do "The Battletoads of ________"

Well, in terms of difficulty it's pretty close.

Difficult does not mean Dark Souls. A Souls-like has to have certain traits, and difficult isn't really one of them. Most of them are, tho.

Just hate the phrase because it's baby-gamer code for "I never played OG games." Plus, Dark Souls wasn't that good so why hype it forever?

oh wow, yer a special little snowflake. How is the "be tool" strategy working out? You look to have alot of practice.

Should be "The NES TMNT of _____", "The Atari Adventure of ____", or the "TRS80 Cave Adventure of ____" ?

Yeah man, how far back should this go? What is OG to you, justbealittlelesstupid? And many gamers these days weren't around back then.

"It's the Darwinian Survival of the Fittest of fighting games!"

People who don't like Dark Souls are usually people who suck at it.

Made the analogy only because most people would accept the Souls series as fairly difficult, punishing games, that's all.

No it's a fair comparison. A Souls game in my opinion is one where the game teaches you through failure rather than instruction.
