the VR game is just okay, but it's shooting range is one of the best in VR... maybe THE best, but I haven't played H3 after the first year and it's grown dramatically.

If I had a setup like that, I'd probably do a lot better at racing games. The thing that makes them so difficult for me is having absolutely no force feedback. No resistance when steering, accelerating, or braking, no feeling of traction or LOSING traction, no g-force or inertia when accelerating or braking -- in short, I tend to drive by feel, and I get NONE of that, even from driving controllers.
And no, a little rumble in my gamepad does NOT help make up for that.

There's a *lot* of wheel controllers with actual Force Feedback at least. Been there for a long time too.

I have a sports car and I have a T500RS at home. It doesn't compare in the slightest. VR also doesn't help. Nor do the random shakers on the floor and such. I've got to experience a 6DOF platform once and it's the only thing that does actually simulate the relevant forces. I'd buy it in an instant if I could afford it. You don't get the same strength of the forces, but you get all of them and half of them is what you gauge when driving. It's especially important for drifting.

I like how Witcher 3 solved that by making potions a limited number available for use, but who refill them self while resting. No more potion hoarding!
