I am always aware of my exits in a public place or building.

I was a little older in 1999, but yeah... Pretty much. Doesn't help I grew up right near Thurston High/ Kip Kinkel.

Many generations of kids have already grown up traumatized, but lately it IS getting WORSE again, after a spell when it was getting better.

i still remember waking up to the radio talking about it, then waking mom up who turned on the tv in time to see the 2nd plane hit.

Through all of it though, I can count how many times I've felt threatened that the gubmint was going to take my guns away. (Hint: Never)

I’m an avid shooter and LTC instructor, and oddly I’ve never once felt that way either! In fact I wish they’d do a hell of a LOT more.
