The good ol' Lone Star State

Good morning!

9:30am- I wake up and play on imgur for a bit, make my bed and change into a bathing suit.

We are under a heat advisory, so I put on a bikini with shorts so that if I get warm outside, I can get into the pool.

Breakfast!

10:00am- breakfast. I'm having Grape Nuts and almond milk.

I also text my husband to say good after noon because he lives in England, where I'll be moving at the end of the summer.

11:00am- I turn on the news. Today Obama is in Poland and has spoken about the shooting in Dallas.

I live in the Houston-area, and we are all very sad about what's been going on. Although Texas is a very conservative state, the people here are very nice and hospitable. I'm a liberal myself, and I still love my state. I know I'll miss it when I move.

11:30am- today I did some yard maintenance , it takes a lot to keep the back and front gardens clean and tidy!

12:00 pm- I got my new car sticker in the mail yesterday, my old one had expired, so I changed it (super exciting life I lead).

We have a pretty warm climate on the gulf coast and can grow a lot of things. Here is a photo of one of our citrus trees (Meyers lemon), some ginger and celery that I grew from the remains of one we'd used from the store.

12:30pm Going for a drive around the neighborhood. I suffer from agoraphobia, so I have to "challenge" myself everyday or I'll slide back into isolating myself. The new Pokemon Go app makes me want to get out more which is really good for me!

200pm- I decided to go ahead and make the biscuits for tomorrow's breakfast. We have a house rule that all baked goods are made from scratch, but it's not as much work as you would assume.

230pm- late lunch! I decided to have one of the fresh biscuits with ham and cheese with some mustard. Very delicious!

4:00 pm: I decided to tune my violin for the week. I've been playing since I was about 12 years old. I'm rusty but I'm good!

7:00pm Dinner. Every Saturday is Steak Night at my house, so here is my strip with sweet potato, Greek salad, and my signature mustard sauce!

9:30 pm Agoraphobia is a 24/7 battle. After dinner I drove around my mostly quiet neighborhood and found a couple of Pokemon. This game has really helped me this past week to get out and about.
