Hello everyone! I'm RadioEngineerMonkey, and I'm here with a request. This is a photo of me and my beautiful future bride. We are saving up for our wedding right now, and she has been looking for work to help with the finances. Being a very introverted person, however, she has had problems finding part time work. But she has a skill....
She is an artist! This is one of her older works from before we even met. She has grown in skill before my eyes, which makes sense considering she is an art major at the local university.
She has a passion for art, and although these samples seem pretty dark, her talents let her do many different styles.
Here is a drawing she did of us after I sent her an article about Titi Monkeys (They wrap tails with their mates and mate for life). We are trying to get a small version of it made as a cake topper (so if anyone knows someone who could accomplish that, I would be doing TWO things with this post).
Being a Mexican woman and loving her heritage, she enjoys a lot of Hispanic styles and puts them into her drawing. This is something she doodled pretty quickly....
...and then turned around and got our talented friend to tattoo on her arm.
She's done several large pieces as well, this one being for a school assignment. She turned it in and forgot to pick it back up because we went on a vacation trip. We thought it was lost forever....
....until she started the next semester and the school asked to display it.
The reason for this post!
She recently began taking commissions for various types of work (such as this small sample of her current piece that she would murder me for posting since the whole piece isn't done :P ).
She works in many mediums and styles it the best she can after what the customer asks (such as this, modeled after old 50s style cartoon ads for someone's themed birthday party).
Or this lovely Doctor Who piece, all painted, for a nerdy friend's birthday!

(Our youngest puppy Sadie at 8 weeks. This was back in April).
If you like her work and are interested in a commissioned piece, please send her an e-mail at brendaramirezcommissions@gmail.com for any information. You'd be helping an aspiring artist follow her dreams and helping to fund our future together.
Thank you for not clicking next immediately, and hope to hear from some of you!
