This is where I had seen the leak. It was very slow and very small. Mostly on the right hand side where that green is at on the copper looking thing in the middle. Also felt wet around the blue water line that goes up from it.

Looks like about a $750.00 job. Every plumbing job is $750.00. My advice is to get on YouTube and learn how to sweat a pipe.

Pretty sure that's the actual shower valve. Copper turns green when it corrodes, so it may be time to replace it.

Looks like the ring on the upper line didn't seat correctly. Should be simple. Also, have that mass of fire damage inspected and documented
aregowe
Yeah didn't notice the fire damage until like the 3rd year of owning the house. Looked in this access panel for the 1st time back then

Must have been previous home owner trying to do the solder himself.

where is the leak which part of the valve is leaking ? is one of the male adapters leaking? pex connections? body?
aregowe
The copper thing in the middle. I ran my finger across the right hand side of it where that green stuff is on top of it and that's where.
aregowe
So right side of copper thing, on the top, where the green is. I couldn't see the actual source.

run the shower i can't tell in the pics but that could be the out let to the head dripping down
Bob29292929
when the shower is off does it leak?
aregowe
I've only seen it leak when the shower is turned on. That's when I noticed it. Thought I heard a drip, so I went and looked.

pin hole or at a seam?

If you look at that copper thing, I felt it on the right side all around where that part is that sticks up. Both the left and right side
aregowe
Have that same thing sticking up. But the right side one is where I felt it at.
