This one was random inspiration just before I went to sleep one day, so I got working on it as soon as possible, and I must say, I like how it came out! I guess her design is rather inspired by Tachibana Hibiki's from Senki Zesshou Symphogear (my favorite anime, next to Evangelion).

Dark Magician Girl, the most recently-drawn image on here. Did my own take on her design. Might add shading later, but for now I'm fine with this.

This was literally an excuse to draw a sword at an angle. Made it a drawing of a vampire 'cuz I hadn't drawn a vampire before. Excuse the awkwardness around the head; this was drawn at a rather small scale.

Why not, right?

"Bloodgirl," as I affectionately named her. For some reason I find things like this attractive...maybe it's just a bit of masculine sadism or somethin' I dunno. Inspired by this: http://i.imgur.com/lgZJmOV.png (Also Symphogear, this time that's Tsubasa Kazanari)

Do I need to explain this one?

This was to be my first DnD character, but we never got around to playing...oh well, maybe someday.

A knight of my own design that I've doodled once or twice, reaching out to Dancing Elf (http://i.imgur.com/xRVNM8U.png) for help. An idea for the artwork of a Yu-Gi-Oh! card I came up with one day.

A design I came up with for Ganondorf, but using the Triforce's power to only partly transform into Ganon. I think it looks cool, at least.

Inspired by Blue-Eyes White Dragon, but I decided to make it more of a wyvern, and I really like how it came out!

Pixel-art avatars I made of - guess who! - the cast of Neon Genesis Evangelion. Well, most of the cast. Decided not to do Ritsuko and instead do Kaji because I relate to him or something.

Pixel-arts of everyone's favorite blue hedgehog. You can probably recognize me on various websites by the fact that I tend to use the one on the left as an avatar, albeit without the ring and with a different background.

The "Bloodsword of Roses," which is the sword that I wanted an excuse to draw at an angle, as seen in my vampire drawing above. Made of the iron from human blood and passed down through the vampire's lineage to remind them of the horrors they should never commit...or something, I haven't actually sat down to write a story for it.

Someone made me do it...well, not really, but it was so easy to do that I couldn't help myself. A dead meme? Perhaps, but I've never cared for such technicalities! *tips megaarmor*

Working name for this is "Souivex" because it's a sprite-sheet for a Xevious clone I'll probably never get around to finding someone to help me make it a reality. I cannot code, you see, therefore I am incapable of making things that require code.

Pupper tax. This image is actually - JEEZ it's been that long? - three years old, so he's quite a bit bigger. This just happened to be the best picture I had readily available.

Keep up the good work! Have you seen draw with Jazza videos? He can be a good resource for veteran and new artists.

I have not, but I'll look into it sometime! Mostly I draw, get input from friends if I feel like I need it, and tweak from there.

The sketches look like rough drafts of ancillary characters in a Christian coloring book. So, AWESOME!!!

I would not have known how to take that, so thanks for clearing it up and for the compliment!

Took me a bit to figure out, but have an upvote for the humor nonetheless!

Trying a life drawing class. Even if you're not interested in drawing realism it will help you proportion your characters better

Might consider it, but I don't know how easy I could find one to take. I mostly just draw because I want to anyway, so I don't mind.

It matters on where you live. My local art museum offers a variety of art classes, and a nearby art college offers some non degree ones too

What can I say? I wanted to see what would happen. I don't care if I lose points on this, but if it gets noticed, then cool!

I'm no artist, but I see lots of artists talk about lighting, perspectives & shading. They often stress the importance of practicing with re

Hm. Come to think of it, I should definitely try out some different perspectives time to time. Maybe I'll be inspired soon!
