On the bottom of the grip, near the magwell. It's not really odd. It's more of a European/russian thing, mostly to force soldiers to keep up

So it's a Sig Sauer P210. Single action 9mm. The magazine release is the lever at the bottom rear of the grip.

Standard issued sidearm then. It's like a well tailored suit, I was never a master shot, but the p210 gives you the looks of one.

Never liked the USP9 SD which is the standard now for regular personnel, or the Glocks
