Tripod. If you must be in a car, consider a bean bag. Wildlife photogs use them for telephotos, should work for a wide or normal too.

It was quite cold so I quickly changed my mind about standing outside. And leaning against the window helped a bit with the steadiness :)

Yeah, I put my tele in the window for bird photography as cars work great as blinds. Helps a lot to have a motion absorbing material...

...even if only a blanket or towel, to dampen movement. My other photo hobby is waterfalls so long exposures are an old friend...

67 degrees north. A KP 7 should have been visible all the way down to 51 degrees north.
