Dumb Donny..

Tariffic!

Throbbing Head...

Thanks, but no thanks Donny

economics

Look I hate Trump, but precious metals is where peoples money goes when they are uncertain. This means people are hedging on economic improvement. Not for us, we are all poor and the economy isn't for us.

The Great Trump Depression coming soon near and to you !

1 month ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

it's as if he's trying to leave the US in the worse place possible, so he can blame dems when they win this year... or it's just incompetence. Or a scam for him and his buddies to make more money insider trading. Or so companies offer him 40 millions for a movie NO ONE wants to watch. One of those, maybe...

#1 This is roughly a .6 cent move, probably intraday, which is totally normal. The graph is not zero-indexed, which is common but can be used deceptively. The x-axis is also hidden. That means someone cares more about reactions than informing. If this trash is how it starts, I don't need to waste my time any further. Be better.

Pretty soon USD is no longer going to be the world's reserve currency. You think things have been crap since 2008? Wait until every retirement fund goes belly up at once.

1 month ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

:if you hold it the Right way round, it looks just fine...just turn the phone upside down.

1 month ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

So long as he continues to pocket billions of dollars, he will piss on you and say it’s raining

1 month ago | Likes 77 Dislikes 0

he loves his golden showers

1 month ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Probably charge you for it as well.

1 month ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

This is part of how he and his cronies and enriching themselves, crash and buy.

1 month ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I can't imagine he'd be bothered enough to tell you anything about what's coming down on you.

1 month ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

What do you think will the dollar experience when all in a sudden all the creditors dump the state bonds they are holding on the market, to get at least some of the THIRTY TRILLION DOLLARS back the US is owing them?

1 month ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I find the #1 chart unserious. We can see that the value dropped marginally, but during which time - nobody has any idea. 20 ticks? Minutes? Hours? Days? What?

1 month ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 1

He's probably making money off of this

1 month ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Not buying anything American in a looong while. Not going to movies. Pirate stuff. Only thing I have a hard time with is "supporting" free platforms like reddit, and, if I'm being honest, my job involves marketing so unfortunately I have to give money to Zuckerberg. =/

Literally nothing to do about that though. Facebook is 80% of the online ad market.

1 month ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Well if "Money supply disaster" in red letters with an arrow doesn't convince you...

1 month ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

So he bought a shitton of gold and is selling soon?

1 month ago | Likes 52 Dislikes 2

The GOP has had every shitty agitprop talk show host & news ad filled with "BUY Gold and Silver NOW!!!" Ads for 20 years.
They pump and wreck the markets periodically and their low IQ inbred base pays for it b/c they don't have the insider info plus they're stupid & slow to react.

1 month ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Yup, and he also gets to collect on his big short on the dollar.

1 month ago | Likes 31 Dislikes 0

"bought" as opposed to just stole it from the reserves. He is above the law, and everything.

1 month ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 0

It's interesting that lots of European countries have gold stored in the Federal Reserve, and if they decide that the US is not a reliable place to keep it...

1 month ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

Investors/Institutions that would previously have bought US Government bonds as a 'safe' option are moving to gold. US Bonds are never going to make you your fortune, but they should hopefully beat inflation and the risk of the Government not paying out on them was considered basically zero. That is no longer the case, because Trump, so people are investing in gold which should retain its value regardless of what Trump does.

1 month ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

#3 Can someone explain what this is showing exactly. i've never heard of t-bill before.

1 month ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Donald Trump doesn't know what the fuck he is doing... as always.

What's worse is that we have Republicans around him not doing anything about it. Fed Chair Jerome Powell was at least competent, but Trump pressured him to retire. And he's going to get a loyalist to fuck things up more than they are.

I’m making the most I can day trading gold while it’s volatile. So far so good, but I dunno what good the cash is gonna be once the USD becomes worthless.

#1 Brutal crash. It is practically in a freefall - from 96.200 to 95.646 in such a short interval signals systemic issues that won't turn around. Expect loss of job, a new wave of homelessness, ultimately famine and civil war.

1 month ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Well, some of Florida is expecting its deepest freeze in decades, so losing all of those citrus crops will help along the famine part. Everything else will be covered by us.

Good.
-Rest of the world

1 month ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Its fine dude, check this data: everything against the USD is green. Green is good, right? (jk)

1 month ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I see those gold prices don't account for the fresh hell unprecedented metals pump and dump that just happened

1 month ago | Likes 150 Dislikes 1

That was just a paper market fleecing. It is common in the precious metals markets.
The paper markets is not based in reality. If the paper markets insisted on delivery, the gold price would double and trading houses would need bail outs.
It's been that way for over 20 years.

Now that USD is failing, people are taking delivery. When fantasy confronts reality, prices get exciting.

If central banks are smart, they'd repatriate the gold from NYC vaults before it is stolen by Trump.

1 month ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Still up 12.75% past 30 days.

1 month ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

YUP

1 month ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

On that scale the dip for gold is still negligible. Good is still up significantly from the first of the month.

The dip is unlikely to be any kind of pump and dump and more likely a normal correction that happens any time a stock of any kind takes a huge jump.

There's always some people who wanna get out early, expecting a peak soon.

1 month ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 1

Thanks for the level head.
As well, trump's pick of someone not patently crazy to head the Fed may have moderated the rush to gold.

1 month ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

And he wanted him out of the way.

1 month ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It was way too high way to fast. A correction was imminent.

1 month ago | Likes 39 Dislikes 0

Absolutely. I was lucky enough to get a wee bit some years back. I feel for the folks that bought recently though.

1 month ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Gold won't keep its value, though.

1 month ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Central banks stacking gold for a debt wash and redistribution

1 month ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Duh he’s betting everything he has on the dollar failing /s (hopefully)

1 month ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I need more information, I'm admittedly dumb about this stuff, but value versus what in #1? I've seen a few of these economic woes charts, and while I don't entirely doubt them, there's not enough info to find the data myself, and I'd really like to be able to keep an eye on some of these

1 month ago | Likes 22 Dislikes 0

That's the Dollar Index, and yeah, the screenshot is not very complete. But to make it easier on you, here's a recent chart of the Euro vs the Dollar. Oh, and to be clear, the Dollar Index is intended as the value in comparison to the other major currencies, so you know for future reference what it means, but without further ado, here is the trajectory of the USD since Bonespurs took office:

1 month ago | Likes 27 Dislikes 0

Oof, that's even worse than I imagined. If I wasn't boycotting American goods, a bit more and it almost pays off the customs tax if the package did get flagged lol

1 month ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

No, no, no, you're holding it upside down.it just needs Trump's Sharpie to fix it right up (FOX NEWS probably)

1 month ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Lol, I was just seeing this chart earlier. Realized it would've been a good idea to get rid of my shares invested in US companies like one year ago. 🤦

1 month ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

So itis good to buy Dollar now??

1 month ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It matches his decline

1 month ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Hyperinflation, here we come! Get ready for everything to cost more and your paycheck to be worthless. Just in time for WW3 and the destruction of whatever passed for American "democracy".

1 month ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

WW3 is going to end in nukes anyway, so we aren't going to suffer long.

1 month ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The lucky ones die first.

1 month ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

There are weirdo doom preppers who actually want to survive a nuclear war. Like why? Society will be instantly sent millennia back in time. Modern technology won't work at all. A bunch of stuff will be radiated and contaminated for decades. Food and potable water will be incredibly scarce. They'll probably be a nuclear winter. I can't say I'd ever want to even try to live through any sort of mass extinction event.

Because they thought Mad Max and zombie movies look cool and they want to be allowed to shoot people without getting in trouble.

1 month ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I REALLY wish I wasn't on the boat that he's sinking. :(

1 month ago | Likes 476 Dislikes 0

He can't sink the boat without republican congressional help.

1 month ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

the views so pretty from the deck of a sinking ship

1 month ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

He sank that ship the first time he was elected, ya’ll are on Epstein island and no one is doing anything about it!

1 month ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I read all this bullshit is basically planned by the "elite" - something about a central bank digital currency. It's like these powerful, wealthy people get so damn bored owning everything they have to become these manipulative "geniuses" just to justify their success to their pathetic egos. Then again, I'm just a poor. What do I know.

1 month ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

The man isn't piloting the Titanic into the iceberg as much as he is hitting it and reversing repeatedly again and again.

1 month ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Maybe the boat shouldn't have chosen him as a captain?

As Robin Williams put it, in Canada I live in the penthouse above a meth lab.

1 month ago | Likes 100 Dislikes 0

He also once described it as a nice family that lives above a biker bar.

1 month ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

It's not even a lab, they are just jabbing everyone in their vicinity with used syringes for fun and profit

1 month ago | Likes 30 Dislikes 0

we're ALL on that boat. Every single one of us. If the dollar crashes, the rest of us go with it.

1 month ago | Likes 20 Dislikes 0

We're not all on that boat. I'm not, for one. But if I were, I'd sure as hell be trying like mad to dump the captain over the side. Not on my own, because there are many, many other people on the boat that realise what's happening.

1 month ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

I like a description i heard semi-recently: We're not all in the same boat, but we are in the same storm. Some of us are on luxury yachts, while others are clinging to driftwood.

1 month ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

1 month ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I meant Wuz specifically!

1 month ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

if Trump crashes the dollar and screws NATO, y'all're fucked too. You might not want to look at what your retirement funds and central banks are holding.

1 month ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Yep. It's going to be tough times all over the west. Americans shouldn't be thinking they'll be able to flee and be welcome in the EU or Canada. Times are going to be hard enough without also trying to support Americans fleeing from the mess they've created. Americans better start taking some risks and action. No one is coming to save them and there will be nowhere to run.

1 month ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Would you even take us? Is it an affordable proposition for families that can't afford a sudden $400 emergency? Would we be subjecting ourselves to being mocked and ridiculed for being dumb Americans even if we've always opposed and voted against everything this administration represents?

1 month ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 1

You would not believe the number of ads I see saying "Come to {random country}!" I'm sure lots are predatory, but still an impressive number of ads.

1 month ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Is "random country" Slovenia? That Ljubljana guy has been quite active posting that everywhere…

1 month ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Mostly Canada, all Nordics, and Spain.
