I would like to abolish DST for Professor and all the other dogs suffering from arbitrary treat/dinner time changes.

His name is "Professor" so I think he know what he's barking about.

Do tell!

I started in sooooftly shifting the feeding time one hour back, so doggy wouldn't notice. So far it worked.

I tried this last year. It did not work

4 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yeah but, why does doggo have to conform to our bullshit?

4 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Yeah, I don't bother anymore. My dog gets fed at 5 or 6, depending on what time of the year it is.

My dog Spartacus once starved to death because I wouldn't feed him early.

This is hilarious

I agree with Professor, this is some bullshit.

what about when it works in the other direction and he gets fed an hour earlier?

4 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Daylight saving time? Hell yes - dis sum bullshit! I stand by Professor

At some point I realized adhering to a strict time schedule accomplished nothing but stressing out both me and my cat. So, now he gets fed dinner at sunset every day. It's worked really well, guys, I recommend it.

Leia would like the Professor to know she stands with him. Little one is starting her Husky tantrum screams earlier in the morning

They’re wasting away as we speak!!! These poor unfortunate souls!!!

My own Leia also grew very distressed at the lateness of her dinner today. She barks in solidarity with the Professor and your Leia.

Will it help if I subscribe to her Onlyfans?

It would but it’s OnlyDogs

Best argument against daylight savings time adjustments I've heard to date.

I always shifted pet feeding in either 15 or 30min (depending on how annoying they were) chunks around daylight savings. Waiting another hour? HORROR. Waiting 15 or 30m? Doable

That makes sense. Professor gets fruit and veggie treats pretty much any time he wants - he really likes them. Marrow bones or something like that is more of a special occasion situation. So I gave him extra treats today, but he KNEW dinner was late lol

Going the other way, it also helps them from going "I had early dinner, now where's regular time dinner?"

4 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Yes! That happened to us one year and never again! Today was a frozen marrow bone day. I have the butcher cut them in half and I freeze them - take professor about 30mins to get through

Will and Stinky would also like to register their discontent.

Bahaha oh this is too cute - it looks like they’re prisoners of hunger

They do real good sad eyes.

I can see that! Professor is currently sad-eyeing me from behind the couch

Same here in my household. They are all starving at 5pm. Lucien is destroying his room. I could hear dinner cries at 4:45 pm today. I broke down at 5:30pm and gave kitty, birds, and humans food.

They are dying

I wanted to break - but they’ll come at me so early in the morning if i do

2am to 2:30 am is first meal, 6pm was second meal. My brood does not like to graze. Why, I don't know. They want 2 separate meals. Time change does not mess with first meal, but second meal, I will be arrested for starvation of my bubbies. Tomorrow I hope to make 5:45pm, then by end of the week the new 6pm. Nah, I will break. These kiddos are not public facing so I can cut corners without raising a bad one.

Same my guy isn’t bothered by late morning feeding. But dinner? He’ll punch a baby
