Student asks to be excused from class to practice Eid-Ul-Adha (muslim holiday)

teacher becomes hypocrite

hypocrisy

How is the teacher being a hypocrite here? as long as he's not teaching that he's free to believe that god invented math if he wants to.

By stating that no other religion gets the day off, and then takes the day off for christmas and good friday

In the UK; You can take one day off a year for religious reasons. People use it to go to stonehenge and pretend they're druids. (1/2)

I say pretend because stonehenge hugely predates any concept of neopaganism, which much like scientology was started by a published author.

As a neopagan, quite a few of our authors are surprised & amused when "believers" mistake their creations for thousand-year-old rituals.

If the 'druids' need no explanation for one freebie holiday, why would 1 billion muslims? seems very unfair.
