This was soo farken funny… but where is the rest? One of the other comedians nearly dies trying to hold in the laugh… and you missed the knee raise “icing on the cake”…
I'm confused. Let me make sure I'm not missing something here, help me out: she reads a serious poem and farts. And everyone is presumably not supposed to laugh.
Thanks, can we fucking stop with the whole "reposting videos that start with the last 3 seconds so that people don't know it's a loop until several seconds into the loop, so we make more money"?
Riyadh sell-outs aside for a sec, his "we should teach stand up courses in public schools" conversation with Slow Rogan is some astoundingly self-aggrandizing tripe.
Personally, I don't get his appeal. Take away the British accent and you're left with a remarkably dull comic.
We need to be able to see nuance. No one is all the way good or all the way bad. We all make mistakes. Bringing comedy to Riyadh is maybe a mistake, but maybe not. Supporting/legitimizing their regime is obviously bad, but so is not providing outside voices on anything. Was it worth it? I don’t think so, but I don’t know. I would be interested to hear his defense of it at least.
Yes and no. Definitely to some extent, but I also think people are terrible at seeing nuance in the age of the internet. Would I have done it? I would like to think no, but I don’t know what his justifications were. People are complicated. Doing one bad thing doesn’t mean you’re dead to me. All I’m saying is I don’t have enough information. I think he brings more good to the world than evil from what I’ve seen.
I will say that her bit there was a glorious work of art
My only real gripe so far this season is they cut the camera away from the action too frequently just to show a middling reaction from the host and semi-co-host...
He's a fairly (very?) successful English comedian (ie: has no desperate or dire need for money) but is one of the amoral pieces of shit that took Saudi money to perform for their sham of a comedy festival.
He had the ability to say no. People can write to their politicians but ultimately cant choose where their oil comes from, or stop the dependence on it.
you posted this meme therefore you are right? right? internet rules? every time you engage in internet discourse you partecipate in the system that keeps you slaves. you expect to change without sacrifice and that will never happen

Nobody deadpans like the Cunk-meister
Magnar1183
Fuck Jimmy Carr! He's a shitbag sellout!
warpfactor1
Eh too much stroking each other's egos
Rather just watch them all on panel shows (stroking each other's egos) where it's less blatant
trigonman3
Surely you can't be serious.
dripstone
Seems as though she studied under Leslie Nielson...
lenomdeplume
I know I should be able to distinguish between Cunk and her obnoxious characters…however.
IHaveAGuyForEverything
This show is great. Last One Laughing (UK).
somethingdark
Oh shit, I hadn't heard that season 2 was out. Thanks!
IHaveAGuyForEverything
And it came out with 3 episodes!! Wasn’t expecting that.

It’s common on TikTok where creators are paid for views.

Used to like Jimmy, at least at the host of "8 Out Of 10 Cats Does Countdown". Now, all I can think of when I see him is that he played Riyadh
pomax
Played a lot more son, ever heard of taxes?

I wouldn't mind it that much, if it wasn't for that tax dodging multi-millionaire twat who took blood money from the saudis.
DaSauceSeeker
I mean... he works for Amazon... what'd you expect? (Though I wasn't aware of this, thanks for sharing)
HandoB4Javert
What is this series?
mabbo
Last one laughing. This is from season 2. Ten British comedians in a room for six hours. If you laugh, you lose.
WorkerLurker
Canadian one is still best one with Colin Mochre and Tom Green in season one
UWAGAGABLAGABLAGABA
What? It was absolutely not. The host tried way too hard to be raunchy for no reason. He made it suck.
WorkerLurker
Oh I meant the comedians, I tuned Jay out
helljack
Fuck Jimmy Carr
Quebeker
Why is that?

veritas1980
because the other people who just happen to be living in that country don't deserve to have a laugh like everyone else?
Magnar1183
That "comedy" festival wasn't for the citizens.
Dalael
You gonna stop using their oil?

Lets not pretend those are at all the same.

Yes, as soon as possible. Unfortunately, I am poor and have little choice. Rich comedian man had a choice.
