No, this is not mine. The username is purely coincidental. So please don't PM me. I just love 16-bit platformers. Thanks.
Ahemmm... *cough cough* On with the program
Fox n Forests is a Kickstarter for an upcoming 16-bit era Jump n Run by Bonus Level Entertainment. It's a great little project with some very nifty ideas, foremost the season switching, give it a look.
Deep waters in Summer can only be crossed when frozen solid in Winter, wind- and watermills in secret mines and on stormy hills can be brought to life, vanishing fog on a graveyard will make nightmares appear and all sorts of growing and wilting plants as well as responsive wildlife.
Your season switch time is limited so you have to hurry up when tackling some of the obstacles. Failure is not the end since it will regenerate on it's own once you give it some time.
There a multiple layers to the game and it seeks out to strike a good balance between them.
Plus you get great visual to top it off. Neat.
More neat.
Okay, if a Kickstarter is worth considering, it should also have people on board who have already made stuff because "my first game" kickstarters tend not do so well. Well, luckily, that's not the case here.
More people.
I love demo scene people because they are crazy. Also amazing coders and artists.
Plus, they have Henk Nieborg as additional support, who has worked on Shantae, Mighty Switch Force and Contra 4.
An overlay animation of the season switch
Nuts.
The trees are alive.

If you like what you have seen so far, check out their kickstarter page (okay, of which I have basically poted all media :-P) and give this great project your support!

With 6 days to go it's 2/3rds funded by now so you contribution in making that final stretch to full funding would be greatly appreciated.
