I was never a fan of using joysticks for 2D games

I've put it through a bunch of AI image detectors, and they all say it's real.

Ok, fair enough. The computer though is odd; only thing that would look anywhere like that is a Commodore Vic 20, 64, or 128. Wrong color for Vic20/64, and too short for a 128. Odd.

Is that a Vic20?

Not sure about that but the joystick is the famous Quickshot II, demolished quite a few back in the day.

it's a Commodore 64C

No, that's a woman.

The nerds on the site where I found it were arguing between the Vic20 and Commodore 64. Not sure.

Was the Vic ever released in the Commodore 64C case?

Iirc they look pretty much the same on the outside. And wasn’t there a C128 too at some point before the Amiga.

So, I don’t know about the other one, but my brother had (and probably still has) a Commodore 64, and I feel like I remember the disk drive being bigger than the one in the pic. Could easily be 100% wrong, but I think it was bigger and that old electronic “not quite gray/not quite beige” color.

I think that’s the cassette drive not disk. And that overall computer shape doesn’t look like the C64 I had. - Old Nerd

Ah, ok. I don’t remember our C64 having a cassette drive (or if that was even a thing it could have), so I will be of no help in that department. lol

It’s been decades since I’ve seen ours. I’m pretty sure it’s in a box in my bro’s basement.

The C64 we had (and the pictures of ones I've seen) were darker in color than this, so I'd guess Vic20 (it's still just a guess, mind).

Aha, thanks. I've only ever seen the top one.

There is also the C64C. Which I think is the one pictured. But I'm not sure:
