Ya know, I'm giving that more and more consideration every day. The EU, Canada and Australia are all places I'm seriously considering.

Australia and Canada have the big benefit of the English language - on the other side there also are places in the EU were almost all people are fluent in English or at least the younger generations (like Scandinavia? I'd also choose Scandinavia if I would consider leaving Germany in cases AFD comes into power). And in case you're experienced in a job which these countries are lacking chances are good you'll find a place.
