Tizana.
Tizana is a classic Venezuelan drink, similar to fruit punch. Mostly served at birthday parties or at the beach in the summer.
It's usually made from some or all of these fruits: pineapples, mangoes, strawberries, grapes and bananas mixed with orange juice and grenadine.
Papelón con limón.
This is the traditional Venezuela refreshing drink.
It's a kind of lemonade, but the lemon juice and water are mixed with raw sugar cain pulp. You can find anywhere at anytime in the country.
Chicha.
It's one of the most popular drinks in Venezuela. Usually served at breakfast.
There are two types of chichas: The traditional which is basically a milkshake with boiled rice flour and cinammon. And the "Andina" (from the Andes) which is a milkshake mixed with fermented pineapple juice with gives it a mild alcoholic taste.
Ponche Crema.
The traditional Venezuelan beverage for the Christmas holidays.
It's a sweet alcoholic drink made from a mix of rum, eggs, milk, vanilla, condensed milk, lemon zest and grated nutmeg.
Cocada.
A popular beverage mostly on the coast region of the country.
It's a basically a coconut milkshake with a little bit of cinnamon, which sometimes it's mixed with vanilla ice cream or condensed milk.
