Some Americans laugh at dumb criminals. . . . THIS makes me LMFAO at how dumb people really are. +1

I like how people get upset how much money CEOs make. As if they just lucky and do nothing for the money.

12 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 3

Nobody gets stupid rich without stepping on someone else to get there.

12 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

THE LAST GRAPH IS THE ACTUAL WEALTH DISTRIBUTION! for those who cant read

12 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 4

I've never understood the focus people put on administration. "Administrators" are not actually important to the operations of a company.

12 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I see nothing wwrong with this. You work hard and get a good job and make more money. Sounds like a fair system to me.

12 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 6

the majority work hard, get a shit job, and live close to poverty

12 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 3

Ok... Some people are poor, some are in the middle, some are rich. Deal with it.

If you understood ANYTHING about how the economy works youd know that 1% of the US having 50% of the wealth not only does no good 1/2

12 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 3

Preach, brotha!

12 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

But hurts the economy. Plus no to mention 50 years ago CEO's only made around 20x the average employee.

12 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 2

We need to know if this is by family or by each individual and if it's asset vs. annual income for starters. It's easy to skew the numbers.

12 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

This is for every American who works full time, and its annual

12 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Compared to the unrealistic portrayal socialism here, I already don't trust these graph. I clicked on the site and saw their biased sources.

12 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

why? i put the 2nd graph to compare to what americans want, this shows that were not socialistic...

12 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

The second graph doesn't even come close to what this source claims americans want in the first graph.

12 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

Put your glasses and get a ruler or something buddy.

12 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

If you are unhappy with America's system then why are you still here? If you think it's so bad then just leave. :)

12 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 9

this isnt "Americas" system this is what happens when corporate greed is not only allowed but paid money when they fail

12 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Um... What a Soviet suggestion.

12 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 2

sadly the poor cant leave...get in their airplane and go were?

12 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

Sadly, most of the poor that don't have jobs abuse welfare.

12 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

I dont know i seen both sides of welfare to be honest. The ones who need it and try, and the ones who will NEVER work

12 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yeah, there needs to be some reform. I am not saying get rid of it, but damn all of the people abusing it shouldn't be allowed to use it.

12 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Needs to have a monthly drug test

12 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

And then the people who need it can get proper financial compensation.

12 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

like its the leeches that piss me off. I really do feel bad for like a single mom who works 2-3 jobs and dont have time to raise her kids

12 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

but i HATE people who get more money for doing NOTHING when they are able to do something

12 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Capitalism breeds competition, and thus progress. See agriculture or medical care in the USSR.

12 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

omg you guys need to read! I like the 92% want capitalism thats fair, not taken over by corporations. Incredibly there *is* a differnce

12 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 4

You can't see then, if reality vs ideal shows some people with 2/3 less then you're hoping to increase taxes to a point beyond fairness.

12 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

no, not at all. The problem is GREED. During the 50's CEO's made only around 20x the average worker. I would not tax them more

12 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

You're being too idealistic, how would you go about increasing wealth of 60% of the population? Increase minimum wage and you have a 1/2

12 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

cost-induced recession. Lower their taxes, you up the deficit unless you cut services (which I doubt you'd be in favor of). Think ahead man.

12 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

ok Mr. Smarty pants look at this I guess youd rather we just stay the course instead of slowly reversing this

12 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

The second chart shows exactly why Socialism is bad. If you can't succeed, then why try?

12 years ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 7

you should know the difference between socialism and communism

12 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 3

ok to be clear even though in no way did i show leniency towards it, i am not a socialist...

12 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 3

Succeed at what?

12 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

I agree. At the same time, a caste system has now been accidentally created, and it's very hard to be self-made anymore.

12 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

The biggest crime in U.S. economics is that True Capitalism was never emplimented, but it got blamed for the failures of Cronyism.

12 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

There is a difference between socialism and loophole exploitation by those who have the gold and make the rules.

12 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

exactly

12 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

How would it be BAD to be able to NOT STARVE and do what you are good at?

12 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 5

idk but i guess i shouldnt have put the second graph in, seems to be confusing these inbreeds.

12 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 3

what the guy above is trying to say is - If you get the same pay being a doctor as being a waitress, why go through the hassle of studying?

12 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

idk maybe because you want to be a doctor / save lives?

12 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

yeah but if he observed the graphs more closely he'd see that americans dont want socialism. They also dont know their getting screwed

12 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 3

Completely agree on the 2nd point. 1st point, the quotes around "dreaded" make it look like the author is being sarcastic - confusion, yay!

12 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Define 'success'. Because if you define 'success' (like I do) as "being able to support your family without strain", then socialism works.

12 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

If you define it as "able to purchase anything and everything you want at any time and never worry about bills", then it and capitalism fail

12 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The thing about success is that it's subjective. If people define success with money, they should be allowed to succeed in a free society.

12 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

people keep making the point of well bill gates made computers he deserves it, well im not talking about him. Its corporations 2/2

12 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

but this is beyond success, in a few decades there wont BE a middle class. My while point is do you think 1% deserve all the money? 1/2

12 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

It depends on how they made it. I don't think of people in groups, and the sooner we stop labeling people in classes, the better.

12 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

If success is personal wealth, this is true, however pure monetary gain is a narrow and pallid definition of success.

12 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Why is your definition of success the only valid one?

12 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It isn't. Personally I find there's a lot more to a person than the numbers in their bank account, hence I tend not to value monetary (1)

12 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

success as highly as other forms. It's a perfect way to evaluate economic activity, yet it leaves out a lot of human social interaction. (2)

12 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Thank you for not taking that the wrong way. All I meant was there are those who believe $ = success, and they should be allowed to succeed.

12 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

(cont'd) Unless, of course, their success directly violates the natural rights of others.
