No. Buddy will maybe lick your kid to death but he doesn't have a mean bone or malicious bone in his body.

He has adapted incredibly well. He requires several vet trips to get healthy but he is doing great now! I wouldn't trade him for the world!

My mom had a chocolate Cocker Spaniel, and she had puppies. Back home, they're all cocker spaniel mixes, so I know what you mean!!!
