Not a sob story! I regret nothing, but I'm 100% in over my head!

I really seriously hated where my career, mental health, physical health, and relationships with friends and fiance were going. I thought I was making a difference by sticking around in politics but it shouldn't be a surprise that even the best political firms are just in it for a buck, and don't particularly care if their clients win or lose.

The culture was eating me alive. It only took 5 years to realize it.

A tea company was for sale. I bought it. Holy shit now I have to run the thing.

I have a ton of support from family, friends, and old customers, but now I need to figure out how to navigate commercial leases and taxes and LLC tangles and still pay rent at the end of the month.

I'm excited, and I'm terrified, and I'm gonna do everything I can to pull this one off.

Imgur's been a huge part of keeping me sane in the last month. I used to let huge setbacks in my work life get me down and keep me down. Now I look at some dumb album dump, reset my brainspace, and tackle it head on. I feel a lot more motivated now that I have (all of) my skin in the game.
