It has been a bumpy year.
I really wish we'd hurry up and radically redesign roads to create wildlife passages above and beneath the road. It may not have prevented any of these unnecessary deaths, but it could prevent some.

Remember when I was like 6/7 years old during the time my mum would take me to preschool, I found either a dead hedgehog or rat that had been splattered on the road. Felt so bad for the lil creature

Hit a deer once. Car was a total loss. I wasn't too upset, got me into a new lease.

Do they just crawl up on to the road or are you talking about catching and eating them? I don't have an issue with eating animals.

When there's a heavy rain they usually escape their ponds and walk across the highway to another pond. Hard to avoid.

It's a mess when the turtles get involved. I swerve to avoid those things. They're mighty in numbers too.
