Rosa passed away late this morning after a brief illness. She was a daily annoyance, and a daily comfort. I will miss her. She has been camped on my lap 50-60 hours a week since March of 2020. She had slowed down quite a bit in the last couple of weeks, and her body just shut down a couple of days ago, she completely stopped eating, and wasn't drinking enough to stay hydrated. I wasn't permitted to hold her at the end due to the vet office protocols, but I did get to say a decent goodbye just before. in lieu of flowers hug your pets, kiss your kids, just plain be nice to someone for no good reason. She has been interred in a nice spot near the tree-line; next to her brother, and where there's always plenty of birds, squirrels, chipmunks etc. to commune with.
