The best that they could do is city centers. Shutting down an entire state like California would require every active duty soldier in the country and the public would not cooperate. Not saying he wouldn't try. Not saying it would be bloody. But it wouldn't go well.

I keep asking US Americans who are very angry online what they're actively doing aside from posting angry posts on social media and they always get mad at me for asking that question... nearly as if the vast majority of people aren't fighting it because they think that as long as they keep going their way and live their life they won't have to get out of their comfort zone and actually fight fascism to end it. They're hoping for it to go away on its own or for someone else to solve the problem.
