Tried the Phaal challenge at my local curry house. MRW the waiter says "Made this one extra hot, you sure you can handle this?"

My reaction after the first couple of bites

My reaction on the toilet several hours later

funny

How many younglings died in the process?

Thanks for the chuckle

I can relate to that. Had myself some good spicy food while in Korea, and this resumes my experience.

I love being able to digest spicy foods. Only time it hurts is going down the first time. :D Maybe taking some digestive enzymes would help?

I just imagine someone literally just sitting and shitting on the toilet screaming "I HATE YOU!" and I can't stop laughing.

I watched this movie today and liked it. I don't understand why everyone dislikes this trilogy.

The only reason I disliked the originals is that they nailed Obi with McGregor and then fucking chose Hayden Christensen to play an icon...

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Completely agree. They're not quite the originals but I still really enjoyed them, and I think they filled in the gaps really well

"I don't like phaal. It's coarse and rough and irritating and it gets everywhere."

Not familiar with the "Phaal challenge". Any comparison to the Carolina Reaper pepper in terms of spice?

10 years ago | Likes 22 Dislikes 2

the chocolate bhutlah is supposedly hotter than the reaper. this in no way minimizes how fucked up hot the reaper is though.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

If they have access to reapers, they would use reapers

10 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Phaal is the hottest of all the curries. Its probably easilly eclipsed by crazier dishes. But it wasnt made up.simply for the challenge

The only phaal I know is a finger food (not spicy, not in a curry) from South India. I'm guessing this is a crazy spicy UK inventions?

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

*invention....and a quick trip over to wikipedia confirmed this Indian guy's curiosity.

Not familiar with the Carolina Reaper pepper tbh my friend!

you must watch this about the reaper https://youtu.be/Mb-QVfwCmYg

Lol...Love that Mythical Monday stuff. I'm also a pretty big fan of the Carolina Reaper.

i probably had more tears in my eyes laughing than they did for eating the peppers

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Lol...they are always funny. I've had 5 CRs so far and each one is a religious experience. Before that it was ghosts and habaneros. :)

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Well, sorry for your pain :) I'll have to look into and try this curry. I recall once a local curry house gave me some very spicy...(1/2)

10 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

...sauce to take home. When I got there I put the plastic container in the fridge. An hour later it had melted through the cup (no joke).

10 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Haha holy shit for real? If it did that to plastic imagine what it would do to your insides..

10 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Considering our insides deal with hydrochloric acid, probably not much

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Lol...thing is I had eaten about twice the amount left in the container during the lunch earlier. It was insanely hot but I still loved it.
