..do I get rid of a red wine stain from my white shoes?

I think they're a synthetic kind of texture.

More likely vinyl, so good luck. Try a mild bleach solution and a soft cloth.

Canvasy? Looks like leather or artificial leather. Look for a sticker like this somewhere on the shoe

I can see 'diamond' upper. Is that some kind of synthetic?

Diamond means some or any kind of synthetic. Not really sure what to do in that case. Maybe the Oxyclean

That top row is what we care about. It refers to the material of the upper of the shoe. The symbol on the right means leather.

If the top row shows a diamond or a checkerboard, its synthetic or fabric respectively. Diamond, you're SOL

If it's the leather symbol, try a product by KIWI called sneaker whitener. Might take a few direct applications.

If that fails, take it to a shoemaker. If it's a checkerboard symbol, try Oxyclean or nonbrand equivilent.
