I mean, technically libs are being owned too. It's just that it also still puts a +1 against MAGA's too. Or, to put it another way: Trump fucks everyone but his rich friends, and his wife.
Many people see posts like this one, & there are more & more of them, as a sign of hope but I find them despicable. This guy ignored the corruption, incompetence, thievery & treason until it affected HIM. He ignored the devastation that is occurring to the less fortunate but now it matters? No. Post like this one simply illustrate just how disgusting the morality is for a very large percentage of the American public. And it also demonstrates a profound lack of understanding how things work.
He also is not saying any of it is Trump's fault. "Why does the government hate small business?" It's not "the government" that did this to him. It was Donald Trump. And Donald Trump doesn't "hate small business", he just flat doesn't care about anybody but himself. Austin was just collateral damage, and Trump not only doesn't care, he doesn't even notice.
Trump: "For you, the day Donald Trump destroyed your business was the most important day of your life. For me, it was Tuesday."
I hate for anyone to lose their business or job but they voted for this. It’s not like the tariffs were a surprise. He talked about them for months before the election.
So this is actually an excellent example of why I don’t think most Trump voters will turn on him even when they are directly hurt by his policies: even this chucklehead is STILL not criticizing Trump. “Why does ‘the government’ punish small business” blah blah blah, as if said government is somehow acting completely apart from the man who is currently leading it
my favorite response to these guys going "-why does the government-" and just going "the republicans control the legislative, judicial, and executive branches. trump LITERALLY IS the government. if you're mad at the government for screwing you over, be mad at trump. he is directly the reason. not antifa, not democrats, not some secret global cabal. Trump." and watching them spin and bend over backwards to protect their dear leader who would sell their soul for a corn chip
There was a similar effect in Germany, "wenn das der Führer wüsste" which roughly translates to "If only the furher knew." The phrase absolves the person in power of their actions because, "surely the leopards wouldn't eat MY face." Trump has repeatedly come out and said, "Yeah, you DID vote for that," but the same kind of mentality is still ignoring it, as if he wouldn't have done that had he only known how it affected his supporters.
trump has at least twice claimed that he got rid of a terrible "Biden era agreement" that he signed in himself in his last term. They're truly just aggressively stupid followers.
I will never understand that view, all we have to do is look up, the sun, moon and all the other stuff up there is round. Why would this planet be flat? Maybe there was a lot more lead in petrol in that part of the US.
I really am enjoying just a little the complainers who are suffering in response of the man they voted for doing exactly the terrible thing he said he would do if elected
I'm enjoying it, but not a single one of them would change their vote. They'd for Trumplestiltskin a third time too. The problem isn't them, their choices, their ideas, or their chosen representatives. To them the problem will always be external. The woke mind virus undermined Dear Leader and somehow China made them pay for the tariffs China was supposed to pay for.
..call me a cynic if you like, I don't think any of them are contrite. They voted for concentration camps and The Handmaids Tale. They voted for hate. They aren't angry because they have seen the error of their ways. They're angry because they thought it would bring them prosperity and it hasn't. Every MAGA asshat that comes after will say "the libs undermined his agenda that's why it didn't work" and they'll vote for hate again. And again. And again. The hate is who they are.
The issue I have with your point of view is that you’re reducing human beings to their worst mistake, without acknowledging the difficulty and effort it takes to get around cognitive dissonance, particularly when it’s reinforced by entire communities.
People have left The Klan. People have left Scientology. People have even left the MAGA movement.
It's not a conclusion I make lightly, I *don't* (necessarily) approve of judging people by their worst mistake. Assuming they learned and grew and made it right. If they believe that worst mistake was among the greatest moments of their life that's different. I believe people deserve a second chance. I believe people can change and can learn and can grow. I just don't believe these people want to. You cite one fine counterpoint but it's one person and my capacity to be optimistic died long ago.

But when something went wrong in the government and a Democrat was president, its all his fault.

I wouldn't know about Germany, but i can tell you from experience that a lot of people from the Soviet block before the 90's were thinking that way.

WTF does 'owning the libs mean'? So people who have a liberal view of the world need to be punished by these rabid brain dead fucktards?

LOL I'm still trying to figure out how the Earth is flat in the US South, but round in the rest of America & the rest of the world...?

Yes I see, but I have never in my life thought the moon was flat, not even as a child. It was always a ball just like the sun.
