Wheel... of money!

I read the first book and hated it, but I'm enjoying the show.

These people must hate cover songs, too. People that complain “it doesn’t have enough money, the CGI isn’t good,” said the same about Dune.

But is it good

The changes are… Quite noticeable. But I’ll watch it, and reserve judgement until S1 is finished.

If you're familiar at all with the first book, he'll change that tune with the finale

don't get me started. I try to remember it's "based on" the Wheel of Time and that helps soothe my rage.

I think they've done a great job over all of the transition.
The Red Sisters are nice and bitchy tho. Nailed it.

It's another turning of the wheel.

It's not even the same world as they changed the magic system to serve modern day gender politics.
Yeah .. that was a big fucking turnoff to a lot of us. Don't change the goddamn foundational laws.
I've read the series 10+ times. Favorite all time. Loving the show so far, even the changes. Perfect? No. But very enjoyable.
Totally agree. Me and bro are wondering if Bale Domman will be in the show?

I’m wondering if/how they’re going to introduce Min now.

The way it's going... I'm wondering if Elayne's going to get worked in to the story.
If you've read the books a couple times, minimum, there are changes to the narrative and to the characters that don't exactly make a (1/
whole lot of sense. The biggest head scratcher is probably everything pertaining to Nyneave. I'm not going to ruin it for neophytes (2/
but her character grew and developed slowly. There are little glimmers that the show's writers have the long game in mind with regards (3/
to the story telling but those glimmers are overshadowed by too many B-movie decisions on narrative.
I dunno man, what they did to my boi Perrin... Dirty.
kneejerk reaction, i agree. I don't see how this eases the incorporation of Faile into the story or making Perrin the man he is (1/
when he's defending Eamon's Field and thereafter, but i really wished, after seing WoT season 1 that it was enough to scrap the Amazon (1/
Tolkien adaptation.
