After all that ruined credit

For almost two years, my off and on ex has been ruining my credit and making my life hell.

Today he had a payment for our joint phone bill not go through, and I had enough. I called AT&T and suspended his line. I still owe massive amounts to actually get it turned off but I am filled with so much joy and satisfaction knowing that he can't keep racking up on my phone bill.

A little backstory: he was abusive and would spend all his money on drugs when he lived with me, and lie about it. I had to find out in the worst ways that he was doing it, as well as cheating and giving money we needed to other things. After I kicked him out the last time I had hope he could take some burden off my hands by paying out joint phone bill. Whelp... That didn't happen.

He is a floater and has no money, job or place to live, and now no phone to continue his habits, and this makes me feel amazing after all the hell he has put me though. Wanted to share my excitement with you guys!

Good for you. Should have done it much sooner. He sounds like an asshole.

If this was an FML, it would be a YDI for sure.

http://imgur.com/DNUemfe So you're saying there is a position open for a financially/mentally/emotionally stable man in your life?

You know most companies will let you split the lines into separate bills. AT&T did that for me when I divorced my ex.

He has to have credit to do it, they want me to pay up from for his phone. Which is $400

You're nicer than me, I would have canceled his line instantly given his past actions. Not your problem if he's homeless and broke.
