The foot milker is back

Jul 20, 2023 10:38 PM

Foot update, facture in the 4th metatarsal. Other than wrapping it, not much can be done just have to give it 6 weeks to heal.

Just because there was confusion in my last post. I am Canadian, and I was hurt at work. This means that not only is my medical covered, but physio is also includes and my rehab is paid for during work time. (I am getting paid to have my toes sucked).

I got my 2nd set of x-rays back and after a doctor's visit I just need to wrap my foot and avoid stairs and ladders. Since I am the maintenance manager for 2 high rise towers, this isn't the easier thing to do, by my coworkers to enjoy yelling at me.to sit down.

This is the machine that does the work. I don't know what ITO is, but I think the T stands for Tarantino.

I still Think it's quackery, but after the last time I did feel better for the evening.
Didn't seem to have any long term effects though.
When I asked my doc she said
"I don't know what it is, but cupping is hard to study as it doesn't lend itself well to study."

Feels like something that should be in an old sci-fi movie.

Did they explain what it for? Blood flow? Reduce swelling? Something something nerves? New foot sucking kink?

Apparently it reduces swelling.

Even quackery you are aware of can cause a degree of placebo effect. Weird, I know...

(Still wash your foot afterwards, for reasons given previously)

It seems to have some effect on my pain levels, I still think it's quackery though. But I'm not paying for it so I don't really care.

Those toes are the only quackery I see
